NEW BUILD PLANNING - SUMMER HOUSE, WIMBOURNE 2022
Our client had hired an external firm to begun building a summer house using plans drawn by another practise. The existing plans did not account for the severe angle of the landscape, causing the misalignment of the developing structure.
The building was redrawn in Revit, accounting for the rectification of the wall heights, beam locations and roof placement (10 degree incline, 200mm external overhang) before being checked by a structural surveyor prior to construction continuation, accurate within 1mm.
The drawings produced are shown below:
(Scaling inaccurate due to resizing of images for this website)

Joists: 150mm x 50mm - Wall Plates: 100mm x 45mm

Elevations demonstrate 10 degree gable roof incline, 200mm external overhang

Drawings demonstrate double skined breezeblock wall foundation, but lack concrete footing type.
Internal walls do not yet contain plasterboard finishing, and have not been included on these drawings

Fabrication of 380mm thick sloped gable roofing system noted in table
Produced based on existing wallplate heights, with 10 degree roof placed ontop

Roof Volume: 32.701m3  -  Roof Area: 86.054m2

Demonstrate elevation of East wall for relocation of wall plate, and central roof ridge height for bricklaying
